Mental health is a difficult disease to understand. Treatment pathways vary and the same medications are used to treat multiple different types of mental health conditions. The reasons behind and the “why” that supports these treatment decisions are buried in physician clinical notes.
We extracted real-world evidence on medication use by indication. This included analysis on triggers and factors for when our client’s medication was used compared to alternative treatments, specifically digging into suicidal tendencies and events.
